Six Tips for Controlling Stress

As many of you know, I do professional and personal coaching for a variety of people. In the last week I have seen a shocking number of normally solid and stable people that I coach experiencing extreme emotions and what looks like overwhelm. Because of this fact I want to remind everyone of a few ways to reduce stress in general.

  1. Exercise on a regular basis.

  2. Limit stimulants

  3. Sleep enough

  4. Make lists of the things you can get done and control

  5. Rehearse how you enjoy spontaneous change rather than get stressed by it.

  6. Enjoy learning to plan ahead with regard to buying groceries and supplies in this market

Keep in mind that your body responds both physically and chemically to stress. It needs to be reset from time to time.
